Range cubes should be used by EVERYONE that raises tle. just my opinion. We feed range cubes because it is the easiest way to tame your tle down and to move them. As far as a feed supplement cubes can be high in protein and fat. We have found sunflower cubes in our area that are very reasonable. With frieght about $185 a ton.

Most of the time now I use trough feeders and use tle pellets, deer pellets, or Deer 365. I also keep out minerals year round but the deer mainly use them in spring and summer.
